EVALUATION
As I analised these magazine features, i've picked up on things that are very common and consistent within these magazines. Colours and fonts are kept commonly the same to create a sense of cohesion and structure. All four magazines I analised are quite similiar in that they were all quite sophisticated. The vocabulary used was very formal throughout, contrasting against magazines that i didn't analise like the NME. Overall, the task was successful in teaching me the conventions used with in every day magazines and will definately help in my own magazine creation.
SOFTWARE
in this task i used microsoft word and paint of which was necessary in getting my posts onto the blog. Microsoft word was useful in organising my work and adding text and formatting text boxes and pictures. This was the main program of whi i used. I scanned my magazine content into the computer and uploaded them to microsft word. With microsoft word i cropped the pictures and added text. For the four front covers i analised using arrows which can be found in the word toolbox. I did the contents and double page spreads differenty because they didn't have so much pugs and coverlines to underline. I would then take a screen shot using the "print screen" button. I then pasted this to paint and and cropped it and saved as a JP, so it could be converted to a blogspot compaitable document. Overall the software i used consisted of: paint, microsoft word and their many features.
